Obituary of Ronald Patchett

Ronald and his late wife Catherine Patchett opened their home on Boag Road in Queensville to many children over the decades, even adopting four, to form their own family. With so many young lives in his life, he was naturally involved in several youth organizations and later in his life a volunteer driver for Childrens Aid, Toronto. Ronald, a retired mechanic for North York Chevrolet, GM, died peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket on Sunday, July 2, 2023 at the age of 95 years. Loving father of Stephen of Keswick, Andrew (Heidi) of Queensville, Nancy of Queensville and Dawn of New Brunswick. Cherished grandfather of Stephen, Jamie, Gerald, Tyler, Brittany, Tricia, Nathan and many great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his grandson Kyle. Dear brother of the late William Patchett (England), and brother-in-law of Josephine "Jo" McNeill of Toronto, John Rowley (Anne) of Scotland, late Gerald Rowley and Ronald Rowley of South Africa. The family will receive friends at the M.W. Becker Funeral Home, 490 The Queensway South, Keswick on Thursday, July 6, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. & 6-8 p.m. and Friday July 7, 2023 from 11 to 12 p.m., followed by a Funeral Service in the Chapel at 12 noon.
