Obituary of Allen Morley Rye

A man of few words, but with a heart of gold, Allen Rye passed away November 4, 2021 suddenly, at the age of 76. Allen has joined his beloved wife Helen who passed nearly one year ago. Two pieces of the same heart united again. Dearest brother of Marion (late Irvin Davidson), Dorthy (late Newt Stevenson), Predeceased by Paul Rye, Helen (Alvin Pollock) and Muriel (Joe Hall). Brother-in-law of Marion (Jack Wilkinson) and predeceased by Mike Smillie. Long-time friend of Susan Snoddon. Proud uncle of Terry, Betty Ann, Dianne, Wendy, Tony, Paula Jean, George, Kimberley, Jane, Derrick, Jaclyn and their families, and predeceased by Lynda, Douglas and Tammy. He will be missed. Uncle Al was always a steady & loving presence who was guaranteed to have an ice cream bar he was willing to share along with a small smile.
