The past couple of days have meant a lifetime of memories of Rye family time. I’m disappointed that we haven’t had as many visits lately because of COVID but am so glad we got to have a gathering at the family home recently. I’m sure all the cousins cherish that precious time together especially getting a good visit with Uncle Allen.
Thankful that He was able to maintain this home for many years or as Mom and Aunt Dorthy say “overhome”
Uncle Allen will be missed but we know he is now free from pain and struggles.

Good guy, my surrogate uncle through my wife (Paula Jean), along with “aunt” Helen, who was a star, and sorely missed Wish we were able to spend more time together, but thoroughly enjoyed the time we did.
RIP Allen, and your beloved Helen as well. I trust you’re both reunited in heaven sharing good times together, once again.

Such a great guy and wonderful Uncle. I have so many, fond memories growing up and spending time with Uncle Allen. One of my earliest recollections was Uncle Allen taking me skating at Keswick Arena with a hockey stick and puck. He was one heck of hockey player back in his day. Knocking down chestnuts together from the tree on Church Street, teasing each other (and Gramma Rye) about the misfortunes of their favourite hockey team, the Leafs. You are dearly missed Uncle Allen, but always in our memories and never forgotten.
