Obituary of Mark Daniel McKeown

Passed away peacefully, in his 47th year, at Southlake Regional Health Centre, the same hospital in which he was born, in Newmarket, Ontario from a heroic fight against cancer. Mark was a long time employee of Geo. Kelson Company Limited of Newmarket. He is survived by his wife, Wanda (Henderson), his children Isabel and Daniel McKeown and Kyle Banks, all of Willow Beach, Ontario, his brother, Christopher of Garson, Ontario; sister, Erin Jarvis (Lee) of Uxbridge, Ontario; step-sisters, Cathy Muscat (Bernard) of Ridgeway, Ontario; Jennifer Munro (Allen) of Calgary, Alberta; and Deanna Justice of Calgary, Alberta, and his parents, Penny McKeown (Ray) of Mount Albert and Hugh McKeown, (Judy) of Keswick. Mark had three passions. Most important was his family, followed by his love for the art of fishing and his love for and his commitment to his friends. The family would like to thank the staff of Southlake Regional Health Centre, his co-workers at Geo. A. Kelson Company Ltd., the members and friends of the Simcoe Chapter of the Canadian Bass Angler’s Federation and his many friends for their love and support.
