I would often see Mark at our annual get-together with my cousins at the Keswick Thanksgiving family dinner. It was a tradition to play touch football there. He and Chris would usually be on opposite teams since they were among the oldest of the cousins. The number of times Mark would run with the football up the edge of the canal and score while somehow not managing to get pushed into the canal by Chris or any of us was remarkable. He'd have this big grin on his face as he held off Chris and ran for it! I will always remember that Mark was quick to smile and fun to be around. One other thing always impressed me: He had quit high school initially, but later on he had the strength of character to go back and finish it. Everyone knew he was smart so it great to see him succeed. He was a role model for others and I know he'll be missed. Mark, May you find plenty of fish in that great big pond in the sky!
