Peacefully after a very long and hard-fought battle with heart disease at Southlake Regional Health Centre Newmarket on Saturday January 30, 2021 at the age of 66 years. Beloved husband of Jane Austin (Crossen) of Keswick. Loving father of Lisa Nicole Austin (Mark) of Newmarket, Derek Whalen (Jenn) of Sutton and Curtis Whalen (Katie) of Fenelon Falls. Cherished Grampa of Grace, Sarah, Michael and Aurora. Dear brother of Lorena (Earl Cross) of Aurora, George “Doug” Austin (Charmaine) of Sundridge, Glenn Austin (Debbie) of Trout Creek and Tom Austin (Colleen) of Newmarket.
