Obituary of Joan Marjorie Wight

Peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, on January 17, 2021 at the age of 79 years. Beloved wife of Lawrence Wight of Keswick, Ontario. Loving mother of Susan and her husband Doug of Innisfil and Greg Ford and his wife Debbie of Holland Landing. Cherished grandmother of Randy, Amanda, Cory, Kyle, AJ, Candice, Ethan, Sara, Ryan, Josh, Daniel and great-grandmother of Cole, Murphy, Marshall, Miya, Macie, Gaven, Sienna, River, Atticus, Ariella, Ava and Lana. Predeceased by her mother Marjorie Vera Bradley, her sister Ilda and her brother Laird. Special thanks to the Dr.’s, nurses, staff and volunteers at Southlake Regional Health Centre, ICU Dept. Especially “Bonnie” for all your phone calls and support to our family. (Current COVID-19 restrictions include the mandatory wearing of masks and adhering to a social distancing protocol and only allowing 10 people in the building by invitation only).
