I knew Joan when she was Joan Ford and worked as a caretaker at St. Bernadette's School. She and I had some wonderful talks and over the years we had lost contact with each other. She left to marry Lawrence. I thought she was an incredible woman and from all the wonderful memories of her, she had a great life. May the Dear Lord bless you and take you to Heaven to be with Him always.

So sorry to hear of Joan's passing. My memory of Joan, she was always smiling & enjoying life. Watching your Memory Video shows just that....always a genuine smile. Last time I spoke to her was a few years back & although many years had passed even before that time we spoke it was like it had only been a couple of months, she was just a truly beautiful lady.

My favourite memory of Joan is talking baking, specificity her pies. Joan’s pies were one of the best! with the little added touch of sugar on the top crust - which I have and will do on all of my pies as per Joan’s recommendation. To my Brother in law Greg a big hug. Your Mom had a beautiful smile and laugh. She did not care who you were she would always stop and talk. Saw her many times at the Foot Doctor office. I would like to share a funny memory with you that I will never forget and that taught me to never mess with Joan .
During a drunken' miss understanding between with my best friend Greg and I , when we were asked to stop by Joan and failed to do so she then took out her rolling pin and applied it to the top of both of our heads, which did catch our attention and we did the safest thing and stopped. :)
