Growing up as a young boy, Uncle Bill was my idol and was somewhat a father figure to me. I looked forward to the summers spent with him and Aunt Gloria in Newmarket. I spent many hours following Uncle Bill either at the baseball diamond or just watching his beloved Leafs on TV. I will never forget those days and I will cherish those memories the rest of my life. With all my Love, Dan, Wendy, Daniel, Breanna and Hayley

Growing up as a young boy, I looked upon Uncle Bill as my idol and a father figure. I fondly remember spending summers in Newmarket with Uncle Bill and Aunt Gloria. I would follow Uncle Bill to the baseball diamonds or just hanging with him where ever he went. His passion for sports was definitely passed down to me. These are memories I have to cherish for the rest of my life! He will be missed but never forgotten. He was a great Uncle and I will miss him but never forget him!! Dan Newton

Gloria, I just saw the notice about Bill. I am so sorry that I did not see it in time to attend the sevice. Bill was always one of my favourite's. He was a true gentleman in all senses of the word. I knew he was in poor health the last time I saw him...at a funeral in Nmkt, I believe....but it still comes as a shock to see the announcement. Please accept my sincerest condolences. I am lucky to have known Bill and I will miss him. My thoughts are with you and your family. Lynne
