Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at the age of 72 years. Loving husband for 50 years of Louise Rye. Cherished father of John (Colleen) Rye, Michael (Norma) Rye, Andrea (Geoff Brown) Rye-Brown, Mark (Daina) Rye. Beloved grandfather of Logan, Keegan, Karrigan, Camden, Michaela, Aidan, Madelyn, Karsten, Neve and Mae. Dear brother of Vernon Rye (deceased), Evelyn Snelling, Shirley Miller, Ivan Rye and Carol MacPherson and son-in-law of Helen Glover.
