Pat and family, Acknowledging the death of Lloyd on December 21, 2013; Elva and I just learned of his death when we picked up the Advocate dated January 2, 2014. We know Pat that you had the distinct pleasure of sharing 61 years of marriage and the family were blessed with such a wonderful Father; Grand-father; Father-in-law and great friend. We both hold such great memories of Lloyd. When I;(Henry)would drop by the funeral home and Lloyd was there, he always had a great smile; had wonderful stories; and the Newfie stories he loved to tell; especially if it had a 'joke' somewhere in the story. When Elva and I would meet him out in the community there was always a warm handshake for me and a big hug for Elva. He sent us a letter awhile back and we were pleased to hear from him. Actually, the last Christmas card we sent came back because I omitted to provide the proper address! To you all assurance of our prayers.
