Neil and Family, It was with saddness that I learned about the passing of your dear Mother Lorraine. We were all so shocked as friends of your Mother. I feel that you should take great comfort in knowing that your Mother was an amazing, caring Nurse who gave so much to Seniors in very special and compassionate way.Words will never express our heartfelt sorrow for you and your family on this day. I am truly sorry for your loss. Your mother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend and nurse was a tremendously, strong woman who showed great character in her life. Know that she will always be around you, surrounding you with love from above. She will always be the brightest star in the sky at night, and the rainbow that you see after the storm. She will be as bright now as she was in life. Dear Lorraine we love and will always remember you. RIP

Alice, Neil, Lisa and family, please accept my deepest sympathies in the loss of our beloved Lorraine. I worked with Lorraine for 12+ years and she was the best nurse and friend anyone could have. She adored her residents, spoiling one in particular with tea in her room :)!..that's just the kind of person she was. Lorraine loved her Mom and adored her son Neil and was thrilled with his choice of lady friend - now fiancé. Lorraine you will be missed by all and loved always. Safe in the arms of Jesus. luv Joan J.

I worked with Lorraine for 8 years. She was a great nurse and a great person. She always put others first. She was always talking about her son Neil and how proud she was of him. She will be missed but never ever forgotten. My thoughts and prayers are with all of her family. Heaven now has another angel and she will definately be watching over all of her family.

Lorraine looked after my parents at Cedarvale with kindness, grace and respect. Her ability to take charge of situation was especially reassuring for my dad who often experienced breathing difficulties. When "Big" Lorraine left Cedarvale Dad was in a panic for days and into weeks as to who was going to look after him so well. Lorraine was a very special lady who was most proud of her son as she spoke about him often. We would compare notes on our adult student kids. Rest in Peace.

Dear Alyce, Debbie, Neil and Neil and Lisa, and families. There are no words that can truly describe the pain, loss and shock from today's news. It is just so unfair. People who didn't live on Ruthmar Crescent have no idea the fun and joy and deep friendships that were made on that street. These friendships even managed to reach across the sea for a few years. Friendships that no matter what will live on, memories that will get everyone thru the hard days ahead. Each family over the years supporting each other thru good times, great times and times so sad and confusing as today. Lorraine certainly could spark up any room with her infectious laughter and comedic sense of humor and timing. A true joy to have in our lives. Lorraine knew her calling as a nurse and I know she touched many people over the years she will be truly missed. The world was a better place with her spirit for life in it. Thinking of all of you. Love Always Debbie, Vic Heather and Shannon oxoxoxox
