My heart is heavy with the news of your departure Joanne. Our paths crossed many times in this lifetime, especially the past 25 years. At the least likely times, and for no apparent reason, there you were. Whether it was L'il Rascals playgroup when Kyle and your kids were pre-schoolers, competing for clients when you sold Aloette skin care products and I Mary Kay, at the Town Pump when our marriages were over, at 'after-parties' when there was nothing left to lose, at Southlake when I was hopeless, helpless and in my darkest place just after your dad passed, in meeting rooms around town or simply honking and waving while you were walking down the street. Yes. There you were. But now, you are no more. And I am saddened knowing I will never randomly bump into you again in this lifetime. However, I know our spirits will connect again when this life transforms into the next. My deepest condolences to your children and extended family. You left this world too soon.
