Passed away peacefully, with her family by her side at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on January 4, 2018 at the age of 84 years. Predeceased by her husband Harold “Ace” Collins (2011) and her parents Earl and Kathleen Merrimen. Loving mother of Jim Collins of Burnt River, ON, Lynn (Lloyd Junkin) of Stouffville, ON, Lori (Leonard Hill) of Keswick, ON, Mike Collins (Nancy) of Burnt River, ON. Cherished grandmother of Jason Collins (Laura), Brad Hill (Ashley), Jeff Hill (Belle), Katelynn Hill (Chris), Kody Collins (Nikki), Braedon Collins (Natacha) and Melissa Collins (Luke). Great-grandmother of Brandon Collins, Tristan Collins, Stephanie Collins and Chase Hill. Dear sister of Earl Merrimen (Therese), Loretta Pedersen (Bob), Kathy Merrimen and Ted Merrimen (Barb). Predeceased by her brothers Don Merrimen, John Merrimen, Jim Merrimen and Tom Merrimen. Sister-in-law of Lorrie Merrimen, Pat Merrimen, Mary Merrimen, Bob and Marion Collins, Jackie Collins and Larry Grimbly. Marie will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and cousins. A Private Family Service will take place at a later date.
