Passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, at Cedarvale Lodge, Keswick on Sunday, September 21, 2014 at the age of 93 years. Reunited with her husband Gordon Thomas Taylor. Dear mother of Lynne (Axel), Donna (Charles) and Jill (Jef). Loving nan of Paul, Zeb (Kyla), Tanya (Paul), Brittany, Abbey and Jacob and great-nan of Ryan, Jamie, Jase, Zenya and Eden. Beloved sister-in-law of Elsie Pollard and Henry Taylor. Predeceased by siblings Vega, Adin, Rede and Henry. Ruth will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews, family members and friends. A special thank-you to the staff and residence at Cedarvale Lodge for the wonderful care, friendship and support she received. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life Service will take place at Cedarvale Lodge, Keswick on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at2:00 p.m. Interment at Stouffville Cemetery at a later date. Flowers accepted or donations to Cook for the Cure hosted by Cedarvale Lodge in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, would be appreciated by the family. Donations may be given to Cedarvale Lodge directly or dropped off at M.W. Becker Funeral Home.
