Very saddened to hear that Mr.Ford had passed. As i kid I called him Mr.Ford and for the next 40 plus years he was always Mr.Ford to me because that is the respect that he deserved. We have lost a great Man. Rest well Mr.Ford.

A life very well lived!! Count myself lucky to have partied, played, & been friends with Harry for 40 yrs. He was behind the plate for most of the big games I threw as a young pitcher. We chatted a bunch, without speaking. He taught & I know I learned. My fave Harry quote, "You'll get perfect umpiring, when you guys start playing perfect baseball". Rest well Harry, you've earned it.

Mr Ford, you will be missed. You were a great man, a great friend and mentor on the diamond. Deepest condolences to Mr. Ford's family from the members of the West Park Men's Fun League. He will truly be remembered as one of the founding members of our league.

Harry was one of a kind. There isn't anyone who can say anything negative about him. He was kind, fun, always willing to lend a helping hand and very devoted to Keswick. It was an honour knowing him and being in his company, whether on the baseball field or at a gathering with friends. He will be truly missed. I'm sure Doug Brown, Mr. Flemming and all the others from the Men's League will be waiting for him to call the first game in heaven. RIP Harry. You will be missed.

Thank you Uncle Wawa for some of my best "cool" memories while growing up. Your sense of humour and Keswick University sweatshirts will be missed. Love Wendy xo
