Passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, at Sunrise Retirement Home, Aurora on Friday, October 17, 2014 in her 97th year. Predeceased by her husband John Holtrop (1991). Loving mother of Brenda (Albert deJong), Cecil (Mary) Holtrop, John (Annette) Holtrop, Bob (Janet) Holtrop, George (Cathy) Holtrop, Clarrissa (Ed DeValk), Christina (Dan Lammerant) . Brenda will be sadly missed by her 17 grandchildren, her 21 great grandchildren, her many family members and friends. Visitation from M.W. Becker Funeral Home, Keswick on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, October 22, 2014 from 12:00 noon – 2:00 p.m. Funeral Service from the Chapel on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. Interment at Queensville Cemetery to follow.
