The passing of my oldest friend saddens me beyond words, as I'm sure it does anyone who was blessed to have known him. My thoughts are with Debbie, his children and his grandchildren, as I know how much Bob loved all of them. He loved music, performing music and the musicians who he played with... An experience I wish I could have enjoyed. His friendship was genuine, as was Bob. My life is better, and more complete by having Bob a part of it. He was easy to love...

I had the privilege of working very close to Bob, and I will always remember him as a peaceful, smile-ready, "Guns 'n Roses" t-shirt wearing...I will miss you, Bob! All my condolences to your family and friends. Cristina

On behalf of Mary and our family I extend our deepest sympathies to Debby and the family. From the moment I started working at North York Bob and I became close friends due to our love and passion for music. Over the years we played together many times and I will miss the concerts and all the other outings with Ringo(my nickname for Bob). Bob was, is and will always be a special person in my life.

With deepest sorrow we say farewell to Bob, a man with a warm smile, a wonderful heart, and someone who was always ready to give you a great big bear hug. We first met Bob when he was playing drums in a band at a benefit, a few years ago. We could see immediately that his passion for drums was all that he needed to put him in a most wonderful place. We had the privilege and joy of knowing Bob and will always keep him forever in our hearts!

One of the saddest moments is when you hear of the loss of a friend. When that happened, many thoughts and feelings about Bob overwhelmed me. We were barely Teens when we first met. He lived just around the corner from me, and his good buddies, Andy, Jim, and Wes. Whether I was just hanging with Bob, or with all the buddies we would have many a compelling adventure. Many times Bob was the glue that kept us all together. This was just of one of his many endearing qualities that I loved about him. We have many people in our lives Family, neighbors and friends, but no one knows us quite as well or shares our deepest secrets Like a life-long friend . Friendship does not end at death. It is eternal. God bless you Bob. Your eternal friend Steven Ballis. My deepest sympathy to his Family , Friends, any anyone fortunate enough to have met him.
