My dear friend Betty. I will miss you so very much. I have been thinking with fondness of all the times we laughed - we laughed so hard sometimes that we cried! At times, you were my rock and gave me wise advice. You supported me through good times and bad. Many times people thought you were my mother but I would raise my head high and proclaim - she's my friend! We enjoyed the occasional glass of wine, attended many movies together, drives along the lake, or just sitting in your living room talking and laughing... Oh Betts, I'm so glad I got to see you yesterday, take your hand and tell you I loved you! Bless you my friend. I will cherish our memories! Love, Sandra Hopkins p.s. You always had the greatest sense of style - you dressed liked royalty ;)

Betty was such a lady; always impecably dressed; her hair done perfectly; one of the most devout Catholics I've ever met (Tony met her at the Pearly Gates with open arms). She was everything Scottish; frugal, funny and family to all that knew her. Sweet dreams! Love Anne, Al, Brandon and James XXXX

We have so many fond memories of Betty. Always full of passion, funny stories, strong willed personalty and always had somewhere to be, whether it was church, out with friends or family. We spent many times when the children were young together visiting at Wayne and Deb's. The kids loved seeing Betty. Tanner out of sheer innocents referred to Betty as "Uncle Betty". We would always tried to correct him. Betty didn't mind at all, she would laugh and give him a big hug. So the nick name stuck. Our Dear Uncle Betty, we will miss you and will keep our loving memories of you in our hearts. Our thoughts and prayers are with Wayne, Debbie, Madison and the entire Aresnault family. Our love is with all.

I will always have fond memories of Betty but none better than the infamous boat trip. The poor woman thought she was going on a one night cruise on the Arsenault yacht however it turned into a week long excursion around Georgian Bay. Wayne, Debbie and Betty showed up at our cottage on day 5 and the first thing Betty asked was whether she could have a bath and also wash some of her clothes as she only had one change of clothes. To this day I think of that story when I think of Betty and it still makes me laugh. To be able to bring joy to peoples hearts after you are gone is one of the highest complements there is and the mark of a special person. Gord, Dale, Jordan, Caity

I have too many fond memories of Betty,, dart nights, cottaging, boating etc she enjoyed everyone's company but was always dressed with class no matter what the occasion.
