Passed away at her home in Keswick, with her family, friends and beloved pets by her side, on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at the age of 57 years. Cherished mother of Amy Atkinson. Former wife and friend of John Atkinson. Dear daughter of Louise and the late Stanley Turnpenny. Loving sister of Julie Wright, Robert Turnpenny and Michael Turnpenny. Beloved cousin of Grant and Michelle Turnpenny. Laurie will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, family, many friends and her canine running buddy Max. Cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held at Valley View Alliance Church, 800 Davis Dr., Newmarket on Friday, September 25, 2015 from 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday, September 26, 2015 from 9:45 - 10:30 a.m. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the church on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. If desired, donations made to the Amy Atkinson Education Fund would be greatly appreciated.
