Mel was an absolute gentleman! I was lucky enough to work with Mel in my early days at Transit Control and will never forget his infectious smile and extreme calm demeanor that complimented his "get it done' attitude. I am proud to have known Mel and my thoughts and prayers are with all of his family, God Bless! Sean Fuller

We are deeply saddened by the news of Mel’s passing. I still remember the time when Mel took me on that fishing trip. It was one of the most memorable days of my life. Those are the kind of things that he will be remembered for - making people smile and bringing laughter in their lives. And while it's going to be very difficult to think of this world without him, it is a heartwarming thought knowing that wherever he is, he is only spreading happiness.
