Val and Shaun, Thank you for raising a phenomenal young man with spunk, drive and enthusiasm for life. I feel so honoured that I got to know him in these last three years. Val, thank you for the many talks, the updates, and the heart to hearts. You were blessed to have Ryan as your son, but he was also blessed to have such steadfast, strong, and committed parents. Your family's journey has been awe-inspiring, and Ryan's legacy will continue to resonate in each of us, and compel us to attempt to walk through life with the tenacity that Ryan possessed.
