An avid community volunteer, Barbara was involved and invested for many years in Georgina organizations, Optimist Club, Scouts Canada, Historical Society, Georgina Animal Shelter, St.John's Therapy Dogs, local homes for the aged, C.H.A.T.S., Weight Watchers Spokesperson, and more, including reaching out to anyone and everyone to lend a hand in her community in the Old Homestead and Metro Road area. Barbara passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket on Wednesday, June 1st, 2016 at the age of 85 years. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Langford (1981). Loving mother of David (Sally), Valerie, Steve (Patricia), Rose (Brian Sumi), and of the late Allan Langford. Cherished 'Gran' of Scott, Jody, Samantha, Trista, Jason, Sarah, Andrew, Christopher, Chelsea, and several great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends from both Canada and England. Visitation at the M.W.
