I am thinking of all of you today. I had the great privilege of curling with Clare at the Tillsonburg Curling Club. She took me, as a novice curler, to several bonspiels. As a member of her team, I learned about curling, about dignity, and, most of all, about having fun. Sincerely, Barb McCorkell

Brendan, we were very sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. I had the privilege of meeting her a few times when she was in Vancouver visiting you and Karen. She was a lovely lady and I enjoyed chatting with her. You, Karen and your family are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. I hope the knowledge that she is at peace will bring you some comfort. Terry and Karl

My Dearest Grandma-ma, We are thinking of you and missing you every single day. We were so very blessed as a family to have had you for as long as did. I am sorry to hear of Clare's passing. I remember her as a long time curler at Richmond Hill. Our Ladies Bonspiels could not have happened without her. Her piano playing was the highlight of the night, especially after the show when everyone gathered around the piano. She played and we sang. She was a wonderful lady and so much fun!

Stephen, Colin, Jeff, Brendan and Phil. Sad to read of your Moms passing. One of the "dirty dozen" couples on Gretel, Clare and Alex were loved by many! I'm sure they are continuing those crazy parties up above! Thinking of you all during this difficult time. Ellie Moore (daughter, Marg and Lloyd Quance)

Clare was well known at St. Mary's Catholic church in Tillsonburg and in St. Mary's Catholic Women's League. She also served as Diocesan League president before coming to Tillsonburg. Reading as lector at our Masses she spoke clearly so that we could hear the Word of God through her. She was a devout attendee of Mass as long as she was able. Rest in Peace Clare you have earned your reward. To her family my sincere sympathy.
