Very Sad to hear of John's passing. My sincerest condolences to all his family and friends. John was my very first Chief Engineer. His mentorship was invaluable to me as a young apprentice wannabe, if it were not for John, I would never have followed through in becoming a Licenced AME. Those days at Great Lakes were a lot of fun, I wished I had been there longer. Cheers! Alan

My sincere sympathy to Laura and the family. I worked with John at Dominion-Pegasus Helicopters back in 1973 when we merged Pegasus Airlifts and Dominion Helicopters. As our Chief Engineer, John was an integral part of making that transition happen. He was a great guy, full of fun, and was a knowledgeable, hard-working guy. Rest in Peace John.

It is with a very heavy heavy heart I send my condolences to the family of John. He hired took me in to work for Dominion on the Easter school break in 1966 and he asked if I could work weekends up until June when school ended and then I went full time starting my apprenticeship. John was my first time time full time boss. I never regretted working for John. I can only remember one disagreement we John but we worked it out and moved on. Great guy and I will miss him.I sure hope that the remaining Dominion crew might be able to attend John's memorial service. If not so be it. Love to all and my prayers to all.
