To the Tobin family,
Please accept my deepest condolences. To say that I was saddened to hear of Eileen's passing would be an understatement (I'm only sorry that covid protocols had me unable to be with you). So many good memories of Eileen's good humour and good nature. And one that comes to mind was from the day we gave her a sendoff at the office for her retirement, and she took the time to tell her younger colleagues that something to value above all else were the relationships you build with one another. And of course, she always exemplified that.
Wishing you all strength, and as you're ready for them, good memories.

Paul, Elizabeth, William and family. I was very saddened by the news of Eileen's passing. Eileen was such a kind, considerate and warm woman; she made everyone feel like family. I became pretty familiar with, and a receiver at times, of her parenting and guidance, having worked with her for a number of years. Please accept my sincere condolences, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I hope your many loving memories bring you comfort at this difficult time.

Dear Paul, Liz and Family, I am thinking of you during this difficult time. As we start to approach the holiday season, I always think of Eileen's famous shortbread cookies and many stories of trips through Port Perry. May you be comforted by the love of your friends and family. A mother is with us always, first in her lifetime, then forever in our memory.

I am still in shock. Eileen was brave, kind, generous, always put everyone else first and had an incredible faith in God. In short, she was my hero and my dear friend. Throughout our 35 years of friendship, we shared the ups and downs of life. We raised our kids, cared for our aging parents, welcomed grandchildren. She made me laugh and lifted me up, supported me, encouraged me and occasionally gave me a kick in the pants when I needed one. Her friendship made me a better person and I am thankful for her presence in my life.
Paul, Elizabeth and Grant, William and Christina, and extended family, there are no words I can say to ease your grief. Eileen was so proud of all of you. She loved all of you unconditionally. I hope that love will help you through this.
Love Tricia

Paul, Liz, Will & families,
Every time we had the opportunity to see your wife & mum, she always had such a positive outlook and smile on her face. We will always remember her as such a loving mom and doting grandmother who delighted in her grandchildren!
We pray for you today and in the days ahead as you celebrate the amazing woman she was.
She will be greatly missed.
Much love,
Greg, Rebecca & family

Paul, Elizabeth, William and extended family: I am saddened by your loss of Eileen. We were work colleagues at the OPS for quite a number of years. I knew Eileen to be a hardworking, dedicated, and diligent colleague who focused on getting the job done correctly. As you know, her smile could light up a room. That is how I will remember Eileen (along with her marvellous short bread cookies which she delighted in sharing with us).
Regrettably, COVID has finally caught up with me so I cannot attend in person to pay my respects. Thinking of you all in your time of grief.

To Eileen's Family:
I, and many of Eileen's colleagues, who used to work with her at the Government of Ontario, are deeply saddened by the news of her passing. Eileen will be remembered by me as a wonderful person, very lively, cheerful and always smiling during my frequent conversations with her. Eileen enjoyed teasing me about my typically Polish last name, which she quickly learned how to pronounce correctly, and since then never addressed me by my name, but always by my surname. I returned the favour, by giving her a nickname "Tobinski", which she accepted with grace and good humour.
Eileen's passing is a great loss to me personally, to her co-workers and to all who knew and liked her as much as I did.
Please accept my condolences and sincere expressions of sympathy to her entire Family, and to members of her congregation.

To Paul and family: please accept our condolences in your time of bereavement. Eileen has preceded us to be in the company of Saints as she basks in the light of her Creator. Today, with you, we mourn her passing as we reflect on the joy Eileen brought to our lives. It was a pleasure to see her dance across Wellesley Street and the wisdom she applied in resolving work challenges. We will miss Eileen but her memories will endure in us for all times. May she now rest in peace and rise in glory.
