I don’t know where to begin. Growing up, Mike ment a whole lot to many people. Most of my best memories in high school include Mike in some capacity. In fact 25 years after the fact there is a Mike Watson story I still tell to this day. We had a chance meeting about 7 years ago at a gas station in Buckorn of all places. You recognized me immediately and said hi. We talked for like 20 minutes. I could have talked way longer but people were expecting me. I spent the rest of that weekend telling my wife all the crazy stories we shared together. You were loved by all of us man and you will be missed. Rest in peace my friend. My deepest sympathies to the family.

Mike is in so many of my best memories growing up. We had some great times and I'm sad that we won't be able to reconnect. When I was at a low time, and experiencing some pretty awful stuff at the hands of mutual friends, Mike spoke up for me and reminded me that I had some really good friends that would come out from nowhere when I needed them. I wish we had stayed closer since those early days but I'm glad that you were a part of my life Mike, and I am grateful that I could count you as a friend even after so much time and distance. You reminded me to speak up when things are bad and that we need to surprise one another with a bit of support from unexpected places. I hope that you and your family find peace. I'm going to miss you bud.
