Christine and I became close friends in the MNR Junior Rangers program in the Summer of 1975, and stayed in touch for the remainder of our high school time, with many visits to her very welcoming family home in Thornhill. Although we haven't been in touch for decades, I continue to think of her often. I was saddened to see news of her early passing in today's Globe, but heartened to know she led a very active and fulfilling life. My sincere condolences to her family and friends.
