I’m so very sorry to see the news that Roy has passed. My husband Carman and he were good buddies until Carman’s passing in July 2009. Roy was a frequent visitor to our home on Holborn Road. Condolences to Sharon and family. He was quite the joker and I know he’ll be truly missed.

Roy was a dedicated, long-standing member of the York Regional Police Community Chorus who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He really made a difference in our community entertaining people far and wide and helping to raise money for so many worthy causes. I had the opportunity as Chief of York Regional Police to work with Roy and his colleagues on the York Region Crimestopper's Board. He was a dedicated and highly engaged member of that board and he was also an active member of the YRP Male Chorus. Condolences to Roy’s family on his passing. I met Roy while working at MPP Julia Munro’s office. He would come in often to drop off invitations for. Crime Stoppers events. He was always such a pleasant man with a wonderful smile. Roy was always busy helping out in so many ways.
