Wayne was a good friend and neighbor on the street for almost 25 years. I always enjoyed our mornings at Tim’s sitting over a coffee chatting with him and our neighbours. He knew everyone, and was always quick with a joke or comment.
Wayne always kept his house neat and tidy, and would kindly volunteer to help me with small outside chores if needed. It was hard for him when Sheila passed, so it was nice when he would come and sit outside for a visit in the summer months. I always enjoyed his company, and could tell that he was lonely at times and longed for conversation.
Wayne’s knowledge about and love for animals was amazing. He took his buddy Shep everywhere with him, and was understandably heartbroken when he died. I am sure that there are some happy dogs in Heaven now.
I miss him very much, and will always keep his memory alive. Rest in peace my friend.
