I would like to express how much Uncle Rudy meant to me and my family. We all laught a lot when we were together. And would be planning our next visit before the current one had ended. He was my father's favorite cousin. And as a result Aunt Barb and my mom were also very close. The relationship between our families was a wonderful and positive influence on my brother and I when we were growing up. In the 50's and 60's traveling back and forth from Detroit to Toronto wasn't as easy as it is today. Our families did it anyways and there were way too good times to go over here. My only regret is that I can not make it for his funeral to help Michelle, Vince and the rest of the family at their time of need. I always have and will always will be with this family in spirit and prayer. I have always had a special love in my heart for them that has never been challenged. And could not be. Thank you Uncle Rudy, Vince, Michelle, Sharon, Brent and all the other Dubek's that hold a very special place in my heart. I will be thinking of all of you this coming week as I always have. Dear Michele, Sending our condolences on the loss of your Dad. We will always remember him as Uncle Rudy and have many fond memories of him & our times in Boca and extended family celebrations. Mom and Dad are in Boca as I write this and unfortunately will not be back until mid-February. We all send our prayers and caring thoughts during this difficult time. Michele, we are so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. Rudy was a very strong man who fought to the end. We always enjoyed his company, especially on Friday nights out back in our yard. Fond memories will always be kept close to our hearts. We are sorry that we cannot be with you at this time, but look forward to reminiscing with you when we get back to Keswick.
