Obituary of John William Kaplinski

It is with great sadness that we announce John's passing on Tuesday March 14, 2023, at the age of 48 years. Former Barrie resident John and his wife Hilary moved to Keswick approximately 17 years ago to start their family.  They have two wonderful children Liam and Olivia. John is survived by a very large and extended family including his mom, Heather, siblings Chris and Caleb Kenehan, aunt Theresa Kaplinski, and uncles Gerry and Mike Kaplinski and their children. Friends are invited to join the family for a Graveside Service at Barrie Union Cemetery, 338 Sunnydale Avenue, Barrie, on Friday May 26th, 2023 at 2 pm. In memory of John, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Hospital for Sick Children would be appreciated.
