Our prayers and sincere deepest condolences to the entire Draper Family on behalf of the Travers Family. When we lived on a farm in Queensville, the Drapers rented our land to crop corn. I was a young 7 year old boy when John Draper took me for my first tractor ride. It was an amazing experience that stays with me to this day. I remember what a kind man John Draper was and the joy it brought him to bring me joy. I'm deeply saddened for your loss. I have only just received this news & unable to attend the service in time on behalf of our Family. We all have a great respect and fond memories of everyone in the Draper Family who treated us all like Family. Mr. Gerry Draper once gifted me a pig that I raised proudly and took me on my first snowmobile ride. Cherished memories. If there will be another celebration of Johnny's life please let me know and/or if I can do anything to help or assist the Drapers in any way please contact me at 416-820-9576. Hey I'm going miss you my friend, and you will be missed. The Johnny I knew had a soft but pure heart, that is the Johnny I'm going to remember. I was glad, I got to see you last summer, where were reminiscing, about our youth. Yes the good times, which included the disco at Spot 48, The Twin Seasons, Bonnie Boats Dock, The Irish House and included, in some of the Shenanigans was fighting. Yeh we found trouble and we both experienced our share of trauma. Other times whether we were working on the farm, breaking bread with your family after a hard days work, Mom's homemade cooking fresh pie.. Yeh it saddened me, when I heard the news of you dying. My Condolences to your kids, Jordan and Deanne, your Siblings Betty Ross and Geraldine. The Grandmaster had another plan for you on this next journey, that has nothing to do with pain.. R.I.P. My heart breaks but I'm sure my father will be happy to see you ...so many memories . The call 2022 just before Xmas letting me know you missed my father and to ask how I'm doing truly says it all . I met you when you were three, at the farm on the hill. your dad swapped the farms the next year, beside ours we bought from your grandad and his siblings, or one after, with the horses in the winter, and the sleigh.
We held a trial for Ugly the big mean rooster, sentenced him and finished him off with a canon cracker. You were in on it too Rossi, Betty being youngest was also there but just for filler. Geraldine was perfect, she wasn't.
What didn't we do at the farms?
Lord comfort each and every one.

So very many childhood memories that will never be forgotten. Like the time you got up early and went out on the tractor to bale a field of hay to surprise your dad.. I think you were 9…but it was too early in the day because of the dew… so we were out opening all those bales so they could dry.. You always had the fastest pony, Tammy would follow you anywhere… and remember her jumping up on the hay wagon after you.. I hope you can enjoy those innocent times again now.

One of the best memories of Johnny is when the sutton fair would have the pony races. He was know as the baler twine kid. His bridle was made of twine that you put around the hay. The day they made him start backwards and still won the race.

We were so sad when we learned of Johnny’s passing. We have so many fun memories of times together. We wish Johnny had been able to love himself in the way that we loved him. I knew Johnny back in the old Keswick Days. Johnny was always ready to party and took no crap from anyone. We all would camp at some land Johnny owned near Kirkfield. Very fun times..
Haven't seem he years but still have fond memories of those good old days.
