Going to miss you gramps. I regret not having the chance to visit more often. I had always hoped my kids were get the time with you that I had. I know you are at peace, no longer suffering. You were a wonderful person, and an amazing grandfather. I knew no matter what I could give you a call.
"Although we cannot hear your voice, or see your smiling face, we know deep down in our hearts that you have not left us. Instead everyday you surround us with the singing of the birds, the rising of the sun and the fading of the light."
I'm sorry Grams that we couldn't be there, we are sending all our love and support your way.

The first time I met Ken he was helping some people at the church move! He always had a happy smile and pleasant story to tell or memory to share. Sharon and my lives have been changed for the better just for knowing Ken and Gale. Our son Peter has very fond memories of his summer working at the estate. God's blessings in abundance to all who read this from Gale & Ken and Fenlon family.

My family and I have very fond memories of Ken. When I joined the I.O.O.F. Ken was a great leader and tutor. Together with Brothers Grant Wyatt and Merrill Wilson, they kept Aurora Lodge going in the "lean" years. Over the years we got to know Ken and Gale and at the annual Lodge BBQ Ken always took it upon himself to become the chef. He taught our son some interesting BBQ tips which are used regularly. We know Ken to be a very considerate person with a big heart for people in need.
Our sincere condolences to Gale and family, Ken will be missed.

When I read these memories and condolences I am uplifted. On behalf of the Aurora Lodge 148 of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, we extend to you all our appreciation for the life of Ken Curl. Were it not for this dear Brother of ours, and others like him, our Lodge would not exist today. His commitment and example to relieving the distress of others, and making this world a better place will live on in our Lodge. Know that he made a difference with every stroke of his pen, with every motion to end hunger and make the lives of others easier. We are thankful for his life.

Ken and Gale have been our dearest friends for over twenty years. We will miss Ken immensely. We rejoice in knowing that this kind, gentle man who helped so many is with Jesus his Saviour. Ken quietly served others with excellence in all the years we have known him. “His lord said to him, ‘Well done, thou good and faithful servant…’” We are praying for Gale and all of Ken’s loved ones. May each of you know the Saviour, as Ken did. May God strengthen, comfort and guide you by His Holy Spirit. — Franco and Anne Acacia

Blessings to Gale and Family on Ken’s passing. Ken has the same Birthday as I do, just 15 years later. Back in those days, the early 50’s, the Zephyr Curl’s visited the Ravenshoe Curl’s at every Church Anniversary. Those were great times. I have many great memories. May God Bless you as you remember the good times.

Gale & the Curl Family,
Our Deepest & Heartfelt Sympathies, In the Loss of Ken,
In loving Memory of a wonderful Brother & Brother in law. Ken was a gentle, funny & compassionate person who helped raise a beautiful blended family with his wife Gale. They did an amazing job together taking care of their loved ones with lots of love & guidance. We have shared many wonderful memories & trips together as a family that we’ll always cherish! Bruce & I enjoyed our golf games & tournaments with Ken & Gale even in the downpour! The Curl family no matter what we’re going through is always there for each other, we always hug & say we love one another! Ken will be missed more than words can say but his memory will live on in his family & friends! Surreal that Ken passed on his Birthday. Hope that Ken is at peace with his heavenly family.
Love & Sympathy, Bruce & Patricia Curl

Our condolences to all the Curl family. I know Ken will be missed. Ken was my earthly cousin & is my Brother in Christ. Ken has gone home and I know one day I will see him again. He has been greeted by Jesus & oh how wonderful to hear Him say “Well done my good & faithful Son”which I believe Ken has heard. He gets to sing & play with all of those who have gone before him. I weep not for him but for myself. ThankYou Ken for showing us your spirit of kindnes in your wonderful quiet & humble manner. Those who knew you were truly blessed. Love to his friends & family. I know first-hand how Uncle Ken could love unconditionally, He took on 3 little people as his own, they are always his kids. He did this again when he married Gale. She had 2 kids, he opened up his heart to them and they were his kids. I personally have never met anyone like him then and since. Uncle Ken you will be missed by everyone who knew you. oxox

We can image Ken smiling as he shares his birthday cake with our Lord.
My first and enduring memory of Ken is his quiet willingness to help, regardless of how trivial the matter was.
A job well done here Ken, time to rest for a little.
