Dear Family and Friends of Wally.
Wally was and is a very special man who will be deeply missed by many.
Whatever Wally decided to take on he did it 100%. I was so blown away when he decided to try to hone his musical side starting a band around age 40 something. And he was good. So much fun. NEVER a dull moment with Wally.
He also had another side. A lion when it came to family. Always first and always supportive.
Wally made me laugh uncontrollably and that's not an easy feat to master. He always made me feel comfortable and valued my opinion.
A special man with a special place in my heart always. He's rockin with Leon and so many others that have left this plain.

Hi Cindy and family! We r messaging from Florida. We were just told of Wally's passing. We couldn't be more shocked! What happened to him so suddenly?
Our memory of him was when we called him to sell our home at 150 Woodfield Drive, Pefferlaw, this time 2 yrs ago. I/we were so impressed by how he presented himself. John knew him previously somehow. His friendly, professional manner gave us confidence in what he and his team, could do for us.

I watched Wally grow up from a young child into an amazing man who was a pilar of our community.
Wally was fun loving and will be missed by everyone who had the honour of knowing him.
Our hearts are saddened for the Metheral Family who always have a special place in our lives.

My most sincere condolences to Cyndy and Cole and the extended Metherall and Black families. Wally was and will always be remembered as a man who lived life to the fullest. Loved his family unconditional. Cherished is friends. Would give you 110% always. Wally did nothing small. l will always treasure the memories of time spent at the old cottage having to most fun ever. Always laughing and being goofy. Wally and Cyndy made you feel like part of the family so I feel like I have lost a brother if not a friend.. My heart is filled with sadness for the loss of Wally but feel relieved that he is no longer in pain and I will continue to pray for you all.
If there is a heaven one thing is certain Wally and Wayne will start a band and Heather will be their Go Go Dancer!

I had the great pleasure of working with Wally and Team Metherall. Wally was always so charismatic and kind. He was encouraging, positive, receptive, a truly amazing.person. Wally always came in said good morning Buddy, and went into his office he was so dedicated to his work and team. Always willing to answer any questions I may have and if I made a mistake always took the time to explain to me what I did wrong and help me fix it, not a quality you find in many bosses now a days. I have greatly missed Wally at the office but the occasional phone call and the same chipper hey buddy response on the call was always a great reassurance. I will deeply miss those few calls and this world has truly lost an amazing person. To his family my most sincere condolences to you all. Yes Wally is now in a better place and no longer suffering, but the loss to the family is still so real, and the pain in all our hearts will take time to heal.

I don't I believe I ever met anyone who was as energetic, caring and an absolute Blast to be around as Wally. Having the pleasure of playing in the band and spending all of those fun soaked nights rehearsing, performing and just hanging out with him were truly a gift & a blessing I will treasure forever. Cyndy, Cole, Karen, Dave, Walt and Judy and the whole Metherall Clan and friends; You have my deepest sympathies on your loss. I know I'll never meet another like him! Known Wally since I was 10, grew up with his niece and all he ever did was bring smiles into my life from that point on. He was someone we deeply trusted to sell & buy our first home and help us grow in that area of life. Wally thanks for everything we ever did together it was always fun and always had laughs thanks brother for teaching me alot not only in bussiness but some life skills we spent nights waiting for concrete to dry up and you always stayed and had a great time with us. My deepest sympathies go out to the family. I knew Wally through the Kesrock Mens Golf League where he was a proud and supportive member for over 20 years. You always new Wally would be there with a smile on his face unless work got in the way.
