Dear Melissa and the entire Foesier Family,
I was so saddened to hear about Matthew and his loss to his battle with cancer. As I picked up the phone to connect with Mattea and Lindsay about his untimely passing, we only had good memories to share. A dance teacher who always had a smile on his face, an even temper and a love of dance. He was one to admire. Sending hugs to you Melissa and your entire family.

Dear Matthew, I can't believe you're gone. You were such a bright light at Princess Margaret where everyone respected you. Your smile lid up the room along with your contagious laughter. I'm glad you witnessed and saw the love we had for you when you were admitted to PMH. You were a rockstar! the waiting list to come see you was ridiculous! Matthew, we spent many years together at the NBS, and many hours travelling together on the TTC northbound to Finch Station. We sure had some laughs in those days, huh? I know we lost touch, but I was always hoping to see you again, see that smile, and chat about the old days! I remember that super high passe in your pirouettes, I remember those crazy Cecchetti exams, those math tests, the pool parties. You had many friends at the NBS, and you will be missed my friend. My best friend…
When I met you, we were misfits in a pretentious setting of high school. I thought you were so cool smoking your cigarette with the shades on in your school uniform. We got along so well and we talked about everything together. After high school we worked as painters and celebrated life and rode the heck out of motorcycles. We lost contact with each other at one point and I regret that. I love you brother. Rest in peace Matthew. You were one-of-a-kind and unforgettable.
