Obituary of Helen Wight

Peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket on Friday, December 16, 2022, at the age of 96 years. Beloved wife of the late Howard Wight and late friend Don Stokes. Loving mother of Carolyn (Hank Van Den Brink) of Keswick and the late Billy Wight (1950). Cherished "Grandma" of Trish (Jamie Mott) of Burnt River, David Van Den Brink (Debbie) of Jackson's Point and "Great Grandma" of Scott (Brittany), William both of Sutton, Rebecca of Beaverton, Brody Mott of Roches Point, Kevin Shelson (Jacklyn), Corey Shelson (Jocelyn) both of London and Great Great "Grandma" of James, Grace and Benjamin. Dear sister of the late Lena King, Dorothy Reaman, and Max Menar. She will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends, especially at the Newmarket Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 426. The family will receive friends at the MW Becker Funeral Home, 490 The Queensway South, Keswick, Ontario on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. A Legion Service will take place at 11:30 a.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel to follow at 12 noon. Interment Queensville Cemetery.
