The tribute video posted here is so beautifully done to celebrate Cheryl. She was always at the other end of my phone calls or emails whenever I had questions about baseball. She was dedicated to her family and also to the BMBI family - always giving her time and advice. (She was actually quite witty with her ideas and liked to share her own experience through the years of her boys growing up in baseball.)
Cheryl is definitely missed.
I realize that it has been one month since she passed away, and I am thinking about how much she touched our lives!
I cannot imagine the tremendous void there is in your family, but I do know that you will carry her forever in your hearts.
May God bless you all during this time and may Cheryl rest in His Peace.

Cheryl was a parent at Cardinal Newman School that all three boys attended. Loved her personality. Up front, down to earth and real. We shared a few laughs during that time. I'm shocked and saddened to hear of her passing today. But looking at the beautiful memories posted, she had an amazing life with her family. Sending my condolences to you all.

Words can't describe the shock and numbness we feel right now. I find it difficult to even think of Cheryl in the past tense. she will always be present in our hears and thoughts. She is more than a baseball colleague. She refers to me as her basbaeball husband and it's an honour I will forever cherish.
My wife and I are deeply saddned and send our thoughts and prayers to Jermey and the family. We are always here to help and support you all.

Cheryl-Anne: a favorite Brampton Minor Baseball friend. This one hurts!
I met Cheryl when she was managing BMBI teams for her son. She would call me for any assortment of help to get items for her teams. At first I would avoid her calls until I blocked off several minutes of my (not so busy) days. Why? Once our conversations got started they would last for several minutes to sometimes hours! Baseball requirements, sports management, other parents needs and complaints would occupy enough time but then inevitably the subject of fishing would come up: this subject was the time theft! Her family "stomping grounds" around Lake Simcoe provided way to much subject matter to chat about. Our conversations became a favourite pastime and I looked forward to them.
I could not begin to thank her enough for her support when I came down with Lymphoma Cancer. She (as usual) went above and beyond to assure my comfort as I went through chemotherapy. The comforter signed by all the rep BMBI team players (who else would even think of such a gift?) still gets use on cool nights on our deck or watching TV.
I never got to give her the boating lessons we had planned. I never got to visit the families new "digs" in Keswick. I never got to cast some lines for Simcoe "Smallies". I never got to visit her and help battle her cancer. There was always more time when we could catch up!
But the universe stepped in the way and took her from us. She is returning to the stars from where she came. I will always think of Cheryl-Anne when I look up to the stars knowing her memories comfort us all.
My condolences to all her family and of especially Jeremy.
