Donnie was a kind, inclusive and resourceful cousin who came to my rescue on more than one occasion. He made a difference.

I vividly remember the day I met Don - he brought true light to the saying "There is no such things as Strangers. Only Friends I have yet to Meet"
Bless you Don for all the happy memories - you have added to my life knowing you.
My thoughts and prayer to all of your family and friends.
You are missed.

What can I say, Don was truly one in a million. He welcomed me into his life with open arms and a loving heart. This truly spoke to the character of the man. He stood strong for his beliefs and got down and silly to make a child laugh. Welcomed strangers in when their times were tough and even when they weren't. A pillar of our community when I was growing up and Shawna and I running around acting like idiots.... as per usual. Don may of had a firm hand at times but it was those same hands that would hold you close when you needed someone there. The world is an emptier place without you Don. And I send my most heartfelt condolences to all the family in this time of heartache. With Love Tim x

Just around the bend- LMKozak
I am off to the finest fishin’ hole
My favorite fishing rod is in my hand
Above me is the brightest sunshine
And beneath me, golden sand.
My heart pounds with the strength
That I haven't felt in years
I am feeling so alive again
It brings me joyful tears
I follow the path before me
And I see Weezy standing there!
My feet move much quicker
As we embrace with so much care.
I have been waiting for so long
To see her face again
She whispers to me softly
“We are where there is no pain”
She takes my hand and we walk
This path that's like no other
As we stroll around its curve
I can see my mother
Another face that I have missed
And God I’ve missed her so
She gives a wink and springs ahead
And says “come on let's go!”
Every corner brings someone
That I thought had gone away
But here they are, right with me
Like we hadn't missed a day
We all arrive at the lake
Its gleam was meant to stun
And in the middle, there is a boat
And I can see my son.
He gives a wave from the water
And he turns the boat my way
And now I know he was never gone
He was just fishing for the day
I climbed inside the boat
And we fished til the light of the moon
And now I truly understand
That goodbye means see ya soon
One day you too will walk
Down a path that will never end
And I will be waiting for you
Because I am just around the bend.
