We have fond and happy memories of visiting Danusia and Lawrence in Keswick around twenty years ago, What wonderful company and such a sense of humour! During our spell working in Los Angeles, Lawrence offered to look after the plants on our apartment balcony in Marina del Rey, while we visited family in Australia. He was certainly no fool and soon talked himself into the private members yacht club plus a sail and several fine dining experiences.
I (Bernard) have been proud to share the same birth date as Lawrence, August 6th and we often spoke on the phone at this time with Danusia and Lawrence. The birthday cards exchanged were fun with the racy messages!
Our thoughts and prayers are with Lawrence and Danusia. May the Good Lord give her strength and peace at this time of loss.
