Paul and I sat on Georgina Council together from 1994 to 1997. He always spoke thoughtfully and wisely and was respected by his colleagues around the table. He will truly be missed by the Georgina community. My condolences to his family...

Ken was on council with Paul from 1994-1997. Paul was always a great spirit. Paul was kind, patient, humorous and had many more attributes. He will certainly be missed by the community at large because he was so much a part of many facets. I loved Ken was on council with Paul from 1994-1997. Paul was my employer, my mentor, and my friend for many years, as Chair of the Georgina Public Library Board. He supported and challenged me in my role as CEO of the Library, always taking the job seriously, but not himself. He loved performing, knew how to have fun, and as has been said by others, never said NO to a request to help. He leaves a big hole in the community; he is already missed. Mary.

My heartfelt condolences to Paul's family and friends. I attend high school with Paul in Burlington ON and only reconnected with him in 2015 having connected with via LinkedIn (that happened after learning about a reunion of some of the men in our 1975 graduating class so I went looking online for those fellows with whom I had spent 5 years at Lord Elgin. I was so interested at the time to learn where Paul's life had taken him. I could tell from how Paul wrote about his community work, television hosting gig, acting, writing, cooking, and his family how much he was enjoying the life he had made in the past 40 or so year. In recent days, I can tell from what I have read online and from watching the Rogers memorial special online that Paul was much loved and appreciated in the local community. I have been thinking about him this morning as I 'digest' the show and have been thinking, "Can one do any better than that in life?', that one puts efforts into one's family and into making one's community and thereby the world a better place, and the people whose lives one affected are so appreciative of your efforts? I know I would be content if that is what comes from my time on earth. I am sorry I will not able to attend the service however, send thoughts of comfort and support to Paul's family. With love, Cathy, Hantsport NS PS to any Lord Elgin classmates, please be in touch. Always welcome for a visit here in beautiful Nova Scotia!

Paul and I were business partners along with Cathy Belluomini from 1988 to 2002 where we formed the municipal software company TDL. The three of us shared many milestones in life not just the success of building a company (due to Paul's amazing in-site and sense of business) but we also shared important moments in our lives from marriages to birth of babies. We kept in touch through out the years, always fascinated by Paul's next adventure from acting to politics to all of his charity work. As so many have noted, he was always kind and thoughtful. Paul was a wonderful mentor and leader. I always admired how he would be calm and professional in a storm of emotion that can often surround us. I will miss his laugh, I will miss our talks. My condolences to his family that he loved so much and to the community of Georgina that has lost a great man.
