My mom and sister were really good friends with Sherri and Rob

I just heard the news snd I am in shock. Sherri was a wonderful person - every time I saw her she exuded happiness and joy and always made you feel good. I met Sherri through Dr Le’s dental office and kept up with her even after she left. She had that big of an impression on me and my family. Rest In Peace Sherri, we will all miss you but we are all blessed to have known and loved you. Thinking of you and your family. Laura Shiner and the Maloney boys.

I’m in disbelief and saddened by this news. I’ve known Sherri since my days in banking (90’s) and met her through my co-worker Diana. There could have been years I wouldn’t see her or the family and we always left off from the last time. Even with hardships, Sherri smiled and loved to chat about it and she adored her daughter Cassandra and so proud of her accomplishments. Robert was a perfect soul mate and wonderful to talk to. A perfect mix. The most recent Christmas events at Patty and Paul’s in Innisfil, Ontario were a wonderful chance to revisit this extraordinary group and introduce Bob. Sherri and I stayed as close as we could and I will truly miss her. My love and support to Robert and Cassandra and the entire Thorpe and Blanchard families.

On our last visit to Canada you were in the hospital. We visited and still had a few laughs. Our joke was that you got ill thinking of us visiting you or you visiting us. Never again. Us talking on the Phone and making jokes, miss you deerly and finding comfort in knowing that you're never gonna be forgotten. Death is the birth of a memory. Rest in peace dear Sherri.

Leanne and I met Sherri (and Rob and Cassie) in 2011 on a Carnival Cruise. By the end of the 10 days, it seemed like we had known her for 10 years. Funny, great sense of humor and witty. We watched when she took a tumble on the sidewalk in Cabo - we all laughed so hard and reminded her of that every year on her birthday. She never let me forget the fact that I was responsible for Cassie eating ice cream for breakfast. Many "kiss on the lips" were shared by all. Sherri was truly one of a kind. She appropriately captioned the attached photo "Monkey in the Middle". Rob and Cassie - you are in our thoughts and prayers as you navigate this time.

Dear families of Sherri,
I am so sorry for your loss. I’ve also lost a great friend. I got to know Sherri at work and over time we developed an amazing friendship that was so dear to both of us. Just before her passing, I visited her and she sent me a beautiful message after that was full of love and appreciation. I learned so much from Sherri on a daily basis. She was always there to help when needed. I called her my “google” because she always had a solution/answer for everything! She will be dearly missed, and will always remain in my thoughts. I don’t think I can ever come to Keswick and not think of Sherri.

We were so sorry to hear of the passing of Sherri Ann. The Coghills and Blanchard’s were neighbors in Richmond Hill. Sherri Ann was one year younger than our Cathy and one year older than our Paula. The Coghill and Blanchard girls spent many hours playing together. We moved away but our kids were delighted to see Sherri Ann just a few years ago when she made the effort to attend a special family birthday party being held in Newmarket. She was having heart problems at that time but who would have thought that would be the last time we would see her. Hugs and prayers go out to all the family members who are mourning her passing.
We know she will be dearly missed.
