It has taken me a couple of days to process this , can’t believe that this wonderful, loving, funny and special woman is no longer with us, way to young to go, not fair! I have some of my best memories with Janice, I will hold them even tighter now, she may be gone but will never be forgotten, in my heart forever. Jim so sorry for the loss of the love of your life, I remember telling Janice that there was a guy who just kept staring at her, you won her over with your great pool playing lol, until you meet again!

Janice was my very dear friend for over 20 years. Beautiful heart, most precious soul. My “roommate in crime” at many Yellow Media functions, she knew how to have fun.
So many wonderful memories of dinners together, sitting by the fire, long walks at the cottage laughing and sharing crazy cat stories. Fishing and swimming and chasing Gus when he escaped. Sharing more fabulous food and then having a hymn sing-a glass of wine in one hand and the hymn book in the other!
We laughed and we cried together, helping each other to understand this crazy life that we live in.
Janice, yes it hurts that you’re gone physically, I know that you’re still with me and one day, we will meet again. No more pain, rest easy now girlfriend.
“Be still and know that I am God”

We’ve shared so many fun times with Jim and Janice; too many to recount. As Brenda wrote, she loved to travel, ever the fashionista, she also loved the beach, the water and entertaining her myriad friends from all walks of life. We spent many weekends together down at Niagara Falls, NY - where Janice would be up early and out to scour the shops for new outfits. She’d tire Jim out but never left without filling the car, and always strolled in in time for dinner wearing her latest finds, complete w/matching shoes and always beautifully put together. More recently, when we spent weeks in Florida with Jim and Janice, she had all the best places to shop and dine sussed out by the time we arrived. She took us to her favourite haunts in Clearwater, where she’d vacationed with her mum and dad from an early age. I will never forget your kind, beautiful spirit, sage advice and will hold these memories dear in my heart. Our deepest condolences to Jim and her family. Her presence will be missed in all our lives.

I have no words, my heart is broken for all of you and for all who knew Janice’s incredible spirit.
I was trying to think about what memory to share and I started to smile as I thought of all the shenanigans we got into. Times at IBM, Chicken Deli, Thursday Nights in TO or at the Police Bar, Dancing at the Cottage to ‘I Heard It Through The Grapevine, Surfing on Janice’s Back, Boating, St. Lucia. Plus Janice was instrumental in Jeff and I being married 29 Years and she was my Maid of Honor.
I know Janice will continue to be the life of the party in heaven as she was here with us.
Trudy, Brenda, George & Jim
I can’t imagine the pain you are going through. If you need anything please don’t hesitate to reach out we are here for you.
All our love Christine & Jeff Baba. xoxo

My sincerest condolences to Jim, Trudy, Brenda and family. For many years Janice was best friend, adventure partner and everything one could want in a confidente. Over these past few years she fought bravely and never ever complained. We have lost a truly rare human .
