Peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at the age of 102 years. Beloved wife of the late Ewart Van Norman and George Newton. Loving mother of the late Karen Cooling (nee Van Norman 2019) and her surviving husband Peter Cooling. Cherished grandmother of Christopher Cooling of Chicago, Stephanie (Andrew Sharp) of Nelson, B.C. and great grandmother of James and Madeline. Dear sister of the late Melville, Marion, Grace, Jack and Arthur. She will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, and good friends, especially the beloved Volpel family. Visitation will be held at the M.W. Becker Funeral Home, 490 The Queensway South, Keswick, Ontario on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 1p.m., followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Interment, Queensville Cemetery.
