Obituary of Gordon Bruce Thistle "Gord"

Peacefully, at his home in Keswick, surrounded by the love of his family, on Sunday, February 6, 2022, at the age of 67 years. Dearly loved husband of Barb Thistle. Loving father of Bruce Thistle (Sam) and Patrick McCormack (Tasha). Cherished Grandpy of Kensington and Cullen. Dear brother of Shirley (Ed), Joyce (John), Wallace (Joanne), Diane (Bernard), Lucie (the late Bill) and predeceased by Kay (Paul). Gord will be missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, neighbours and especially by his puppy Charlie. Visitation will be held at the M.W. Funeral Home, 490 The Queensway South, Keswick on Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. The service can be viewed via Facebook, livestreamed at https://www.facebook.com/mwbeckerfuneralhome starting at 1:00 p.m. (Covid protocols in place. Social distancing, contact tracing and wearing of masks are mandatory).
