Our hearts are heavy at hearing of the passing of Aunt June. Her zest for life and fun loving nature made her a joy to be around and the light of the family. I hope that she is at peace and that in time our hearts here will heal knowing she is with her husband, Ted. Dance the days away June and watch over your family from heaven. We love you and miss you. Bob, Carol & Brittany Welch

My heart is heavy with hearing that Auntie June has gone. I love her with all of my heart and I hope that she is reuniting with Uncle Ted, her mother and my mother, her sister Mary. Hopefully she will see her father also as she has missed him for a long time. Auntie June was a fun-loving person, goofy at times with a great sense of humour. I remember her and my mom demonstrating how they did the jive together as young women, entering contests and the like. She loved to entertain people and there was singing too.
Auntie June loved animals deeply and she keenly felt the many injustices they suffer at the hands of humans.
I loved hearing her laugh and she always seemed to have a funny angle on things. Years ago I had pet canaries and they had babies. She sent a baby congratulations card to me that she repurposed to reflect the arrival of baby birds instead of humans. I still have that card.
Auntie June reminded me so much of my mom, her oldest sister, who passed around 15 years ago. When I saw Aunt June, I could see my mom too.
I am going to miss her very much.
Sending much love to my cousins Linda and Glenn as they find their way through their grief. Love you always.

So sorry to hear of Aunt June's passing. While we never spent a lot of time together she always made an impression on me when we did. She was a fun loving lady and caring to all. She will be missed. Rest in peace Aunt June. Love from the Rakus family in South Carolina.
