It has been many years since I sat around the kitchen table playing euchre on a Saturday night. Sandy always welcomed us and treated us like one of the kids. I remember her walking to the grocery store every day. Sometimes alone, but more often with her friend Red. If I saw her walking alone I would offer her a drive. Only one time she accepted because it has started to pour rain. She always made time to chit chat. The last time I can recall having a conversation with her is on a summer afternoon at a Miami Beach Field Day. She had taken Matthew there for a bit of fun. He was only a little boy at the time. I've been reflecting on these times this last week and realize how very quickly time passes. My sincerest condolences to the Mitchell/Gauthier families. My heart hurts for your loss.

My condolences to the family on their loss. I have many fond memories of Mrs. Gauthier during our time as neighbours on Miami Drive. She always welcomed all of us. I recall collecting pumpkins after Halloween so she could bake pies. She was always busy but never to busy to ask how we were doing each day. May she Rest In Peace.

I will sadly miss Sandra's smile and personality. Me and my crew from Mowtion Property Services have been friends of Sandra helping her with her needs around the yard and winter services. She would always greet the crew and myself and always cheer us up with her positive attitude and thankfulness of us helping her out.Every Xmas she would walk out and hand us a small tin of her homemade shortbread cookies and smile and say thankyou for everything .Also she would do the same when she was baking pies she would always hand us one of those as well.We sadly miss you Sandra you were a good soul and friend you were taken to quickly .

We are extremely shocked and saddened at the sudden passing of dear Sandra. We are neighbors up the street, I was lucky enough to meet Sandra last summer, we would pass by and say hello and have lovely chats while walking the kids to the beach. Her bright and pleasant personality will forever be a beautiful memory I have of her. My deepest condolences to her friends and family during this extremely difficult time.

We are numb with grief at the sudden passing of our dear Aunt Sandy. Our thoughts and prayers are with her children, beloved grandchildren and extended family. We were fortunate to visit with her on a couple of our trips from Winnipeg , which my wife thoroughly enjoyed as many hours were spent in shopping malls…we soon learned that this was one of Aunt Sandy’s favourite past times. We remained in contact through regular phone calls and email , which is something we will miss immensely . We take solace in knowing that she has been reunited with her sister, Allison, and are back to doing what they did best…..giggle like a couple of school girls. A proper goodbye from us would be the way she ended every email…2-4-3-4 which is code for WE LOVE YOU LOTS

My deepest condolences to all the family. Sandy was a part of my life for 23 years and has not been forgotten. She was a great mother-in-law during that time and a caring and loving grandma to Matthew. I will always remember her spectacular spaghetti dinners and chicken noodle soup on Saturdays, her Christmas baking, pumpkin pies, planning together for boxing day family get-togethers, her beautiful needlepoint and our many shopping trips, craft shows, Miami Beach field days and walks together. We had many good times during those years and many good memories were made. You were loved. Rest in Peace Sandy.
