Obituary of Joan Marie Marles

Peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre, on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at the age of 81 years. Predeceased by her loving husband Sid Marles (2015). Dear mother of Peter Thompson of British Columbia. Cherished grandmother of Eric, Ben, Max and great-grandmother of Phoenix and Odin. Beloved sister of Shirley Thompson, Ralph Thompson (surviving wife Audrey) of Fenelon Falls, Gary Thompson (Joan) of Bradford, Paul Espen (Geri) of Haliburton, Keith Thompson (late Jean) of Port Hope, Ross Thompson (deceased) and  Gail Thompson (deceased). Joan will be missed by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be held at the M.W. Becker Funeral Home, 490 The Queensway South, Keswick on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, from 12 p.m to 1 p.m., followed by a Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. The service can be viewed via Facebook, livestreamed at https://www.facebook.com/mwbeckerfuneralhome/videos/1346309342506642 starting at 1:00 p.m.  (Covid Protocols in place. Social distancing, contact tracing and wearing of masks are mandatory).
