I worked with Ken with Community Living for over a year until I went on leave, but we still chatted weekly for the last 2 years. Ken was a very interesting and fun person to talk to and we had a lot of laughs! We enjoyed our long talks over coffee and lunch. He hated all the appointments so distraction with food was always helpful. We would play guess that tune if they had music playing wherever we were and Ken could not only tell me the name of the song but who sang it and in what year.
I will miss you dearly Ken!

I was so sad to hear about Kens passing. I was lucky enough to be is support worker until I switched positions in June. Ken had a quick wit, sharp tongue and the kindest heart of anyone I ever met. When I first started supporting him, I noticed he had names on his “friends” around his home. Names of workers past and present who he loved and respected. I told him I was gonna earn my name in “Kens walk of fame” and one day I walked in and there it was. My name. One of the best days of my career. I am going to miss our chats, our lonnnnng trips for groceries and Kens simply capacity for kindness and love. I am so glad he left us after having a great day with friends. Thank you Ken for allowing me to be your friend.

Uncle ken was one of the best uncle I could have I never don’t remember him being at the house growing up. There is 3 memories that stand out the most to me.
1st one was when dad raced the ACC and he drove my mom n us kids to the track in the van. Mom was not for seatbelts nor was dad but uncle wouldn’t move tell she had it one us kids laughed at it.
2nd was every time dad would take uncle ken and I for a drive n be on the 401 dad had a thing of taking the on ramp hard and uncle ken would alway push his foot on the floor and dad would ask “ looking for the break pedal ken “
3rd one was is the most special one to me!! Is when I had my daughter Marguerite uncle ken was there when she was born. He the whole time had me laughing and not even thinking about the pain because he had me in stitches all the time.
I will miss you uncle ken but I know your with daddy. RIP

Ken was truly one of the kindest man I've ever known. His heart was much bigger than we knew, he had a soft spot for animals too. He cared in such a special way, quietly but with his whole heart. His biggest hero was my brother Al, his love for our Mother was all consuming. I always saw Ken as a man who stood so tall, because of his big heart. Rest well Ken, know your sister loves you forever.
Love Gayle

I have had the pleasure of knowing Ken for the past 6 years.
Ken was a kind and generous man to all people and animals he met. He had an amazing sense of humor, one of his best qualities!
I like to share a story about Ken...Ken was a professional driver, delivery man for many years. He had a great sense of direction without GPS or maps etc. He knew his way around any town ,and as his support worker, I am a bit directional challenged. We often got lost...LOL...and Ken would say that "God put me in your life to help me get from A to B. " Yes, Ken, You did give me great directions for details in life and I cherish those moments.
You will be missed by many who knew you!
God Bless You!
