I worked with Geoff at Atari (Canada) Corp.where he was hired as National Sales Manager eventually becoming CEO of operations. Reflecting on this time period, (I worked as Western Canadian Sales Manager) I remember it was one of the most enjoyable jobs I ever had... and Geoff made it fun. He basically gave me free reign in the position to manage all aspects, of the position but he was always there beside me with his encouragement. I remember the time he flew out the Atari corporate booth for the westcoast's Comdex computer show in January. It was huge, and one of the best booths at the show featuring a large area supporting music and midi. Geoff had a great management skillset and he always had a personal side to him that helped me and my family through some rough patches. My condolences to his wife and family.

Geoff was a dear friend and mentor, we worked together at CharityVillage. I count myself as one of the lucky ones to have had so many great conversations with him over the years. Geoff could be counted on, he was caring and compassionate, and could turn a difficult situation into a positive. He had a big heart and always wore it on his sleeve.
We missed Geoff dearly, when he retired. But he kept in touch and continued to shine his positive light. I feel very lucky to have known Geoff, he certainly left a lasting impression with me. It is heartbreaking that he was taken to soon. My deepest condolences to Kathie and family

My memories of our cousin Geoff take me back to the mid 1970's. Geoff came to live with us, Mom, Dad, David, Angela and Michelle. I can't recall why, but that didn't matter. Our Dad adored Geoff. He took him under his wing so to speak. We considered Geoff to be our Uncle rather than our cousin.
Back in the 70's our parents threw these epic parties. Our small house would be packed with family and friends. There was guitar playing, singing into the fake microphone, dancing and laughing into all hours of the night. Geoff would be up there dancing away with all the ladies. The women were smitten with Geoff- he was one of the younger men there!
I remember one of our parties that was around Christmas or New Year's and it was one of the coldest days-I mean nothing like the winters we have now. This was the kind of cold days that the tip of your nose would freeze as soon as you stepped outside. Well, one of our party guests had a flat tire on their car, and there were the men out in the cold strategizing how to fix this flat tire. Once they made a plan they took action. Imagine trying to change a flat tire in the freezing cold! The equipment back then isn't like it it today. It took I think 5 or 6 men taking turns trying to get the tire off. Now that's teamwork! That was Geoff - a team player and willing to lend a hand no matter what. When I think of him I think of him changing that tire - being helpful, being kind.
R.I.P. dear cousin.

Geoff was my best friend of 25+ years Courtney’s father. So many wonderful memories come to mind but there’s one that stuck with me my whole life. When Courtney and I were teenagers he had a rule, and it was this: if you are at a party (or anywhere for that matter) and your driver was intoxicated, call me, no questions asked, I don’t care what time it is- call me and I will come and pick you up. I couldn’t think of a better story that summed up who he was as a human. Kind, caring, and a man who loved his family more than anything. The world got a bit smaller when he left but you can sure bet his light isn’t far from the ones he loved.

Geoff, was the kind of man, who could bring you back from the edge. No matter what it was. He could brighten a dull moment, day or week just by doing something unexpected. I met Geoff during my interview for CMC, when I really wasn't sure if I wanted to go back to work, he hired me on the spot, and how could I say no. Had I, I would have missed one of the best reasons for working there. A solid upstanding man, with integrity and morals, fun to hang out with, interesting to talk to, learn from. Even after both of us had departed CMC, we still chatted, we remained friends, we shared stories.... I am seriously going to miss you Geoff, but I know you are with the angels.... I know you'll be tormenting them in no time with silly jokes, and laughter, belly laughter that not many can give! To your family, he was and you know an incredible man... you were lucky to have him! He will be missed by many!!
I do have a funny story, as I travelled with Geoff to Anaheim for an event, and we met at the airport, I learnt a lot about him during that trip and one of the things I discovered was he was a 'little bit' OCD. I am always rushing when in airports, so Im ready to go from the security and he's still gathering his things....so I thought Id help..... whoops! he didn't yell or scream, but he certainly shared that he has to go through each step, taking off the shoes, putting back on, taking off the watch putting it back on and in the same order that he put it into the security machines..... It will be etched in memory forever the look on his face, when I tried helping him.... we did laugh a lot on that trip... especially about the airport.....

Geoff was my COO at CharityVillage for approximately 4 years (when he hired me). I have so many great memories of working with Geoff or chatting with him at CharityVillage conferences/work reunions. He was a leader that knew how to lead! He was caring and compassionate, but highly intelligent and knew how to get things done. He also had a great sense of humour and I could always crack a joke with him, especially when it came to his dislike for kale!!.
Since leaving CV, he has been greatly missed. Many of us have talked about Geoff - usually sharing a funny memory or missing his expertise on how to resolve a situation. We need more Geoff's in this world and I am sad that he was taken far too soon. My sincerest condolences to Kathie and family - I can only imagine how much you will miss him.

My deepest sympathies to Kathie, Courtney and all who loved him. When I think of my cousin Geoff I always picture him smiling and laughing. He was so full of life. The thing I remember most about him is his love of family. They were always his priority. I remember when I was a teenager he bought me my first album John Denver's Greatest Hits. I was not a country fan but was so touched by his gesture. I still have that album today I just couldn't get rid of it. We were planning a meet the summer of 2020 when he came to visit his parents but sadly it never happened because of Covid.
Geoff, I will miss your silly jokes you posted on Facebook and just reminiscing about the good old days. Gone way too soon, you will never be forgotten. RIP.
xoxo

Geoff was our COO at CMC for many years. He was an invaluable member of the senior management team navigating operations through a fast period of growth. Day in and day out he navigated change, solved problems and managed a growing cadre of developers, account managers and admin staff. In many ways he was our keel - keeping the fast moving boat steady.
The thing about Geoff that everyone at CMC can attest to is that he did his demanding job with a sense of incredible pride and dedication. He was a leader of integrity, perseverance and passion.
Geoff had a desire and skill to elevate and mentor his colleagues and staff to be better at their job and better people. He was a true “giver” whose interest in teaching, sharing and guiding were core to his style of managing.
Geoff leaves behind many at CMC who considered him a freind. Rest in peace Geoff. You left a good footprint in the memories of those you left behind.
Mathew Diamond.

Geoff Earle
Kathie, Courtney and family
I was so saddened to hear the news about your beloved Geoff and wanted to pass on my sincere heartfelt condolences to you and the entire extended family.
As you may recall, Geoff and I shared an intense work experience at Content Management Corporation. He was truly one of the good guys whose intellect, passion, drive, and skills were appreciated by all who worked with him. He was instrumental in so many positive changes at the company, really helping drive it forward at a critical time. He was a true gentlemen and a leader - a role model to many. I learned a lot from Geoff and benefitted from his wisdom, kindness, and dedication.
Geoff and I were joined at the hip at CMC and worked together continuously spending a lot of time together including some significant travel. Most memorable were multiple road trips in the F150 to upstate New York. We turned on the cruise control and the Satellite radio tuned into the “Bridge” and we sang our way through the mountains for 16 hours - laughing hysterically and sharing many of our life‘s experiences. We were roughly the same age and If I didn’t know the words he did - and vice versa :-)
I have not been in touch much through this last Covid period but was thinking about him often as I was aware of his health challenges. The last time we met was at the Tim’s in Keswick a few years ago. He will be missed.
May Geoff’s memory and kindness and his commitment to family and friends be a blessing and great source of comfort and strength to you and your families.
